Principal’s Message

Hello Springers!

We are excited to start the 2020-2021 school year, virtually, and see all your smiling faces!  We want to ensure that families have all the information necessary for student success in this first nine weeks!

First, make sure that your student has a designated learning space in your home.  A desk or table would be beneficial so that students can be sitting up and ready to engage in learning with enough space for their paper, notebooks, writing utensils, and Chromebook or iPad.  Also, be sure that your child has a set of earbuds or earphones so that they can concentrate on the instruction and drown out background noise within their learning space.  Finally, make sure you have designated time after the learning day has ended for your child to complete their independent tasks and homework so they are prepared for the next day.

Below are some important dates and times to put on your calendar:

  • Tuesday, September 1 we will hold our 1st Virtual Family Forum from 6:30 – 7:30 pm through Microsoft Teams (meeting link will be sent through Schoology & School Messenger).
  • Wednesday, September 2 we will hold a Virtual Administration Meet & Greet with Kindergarten parents only. (Meeting link will be sent through Schoology & School Messenger)
  • Thursday, September 3 we will send our Virtual Open House video to all families, through Schoology & School Messenger
  • Tuesday, September 15 we will hold our 2nd Virtual Family Forum from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. through Microsoft Teams (meeting link will be sent through Schoology & School Messenger).
  • Thursday, September 24 we will hold our Virtual Back to School Night from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. (meeting link will be sent through Schoology & School Messenger).
