We have enjoyed celebrating our fabulous teachers this week! Rivers Edge is so grateful for the dedication all our teachers and staff show on a daily basis. Special congratulations to Ms. Bennett who was celebrated as our Gilman Teacher of the Year. She is more than deserving of this special honor!
This week has also been a celebration with some of our Field Day Raffle Winners! Mr. Nott, Mrs. Game, and Mr. Onsi Atia hosted a 4v4 soccer game with 8 raffle winners. Although the red team came out on top, both teams played extremely well! We were all grateful for the student and teacher cheerleaders who surrounded the game and kept the energy high! Mr. Nott also invited his Deep Run lacrosse team to work with our kindergartners. The students loved chatting with the high schoolers and learning new lacrosse skills!
Mr. Rutman and Mrs. Salmon also hosted their raffle winners this week. In an exciting 4v2 basketball game, the students sunk several impressive baskets. The student players enjoyed their classmates cheering on the sidelines. What a fun way to end an exciting week!
